Job Description
Post Title: Events Coordinator (fixed term until 31st October 2025)
Salary: Based on a start date of 12th May 2025 the payable salary would be £11,862.00 based on a full time equivalent salary of £26,574.00
Hours: The working hours for this post are 35 hours per week. This will be on a rota basis from Monday – Sunday and will include a variety of different shifts. You must be able to work in the evenings up until 1:30am and the majority of Saturdays as this is a popular day for our bookings. Overtime and Time Off In lieu are available.

The Green Estate is a community interest company whose purpose is to grow green and resilient urban places for people and nature to thrive. We are one of the first 15 organisations who the King selected for the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development. Our 2030 goal is to become a national urban resilience demonstrator.
As part of our outstanding hospitality team, you will work alongside the Hospitality Manager and Head of Green & Resilient Communities to develop and grow our event offer across the site. This will include our corporate offers, venue hires, CPD events, and community events but will also have a particular focus on coordinating and delivering events related to our work on place-based urban resilience.
You will be responsible for the associated marketing, administration, and line management of designated bar and events staff. There will also be a requirement to support the delivery of Weddings on Fridays and Saturdays. With a love of working with people, an eye for detail, and a confident manner, you’ll be a crucial member of our events team.

When shifts finish after 9pm a taxi to an address in Sheffield will be provided. This role is based at our Sheffield site.
