The Role
As a Test Automation Engineer, your main focus will be to maintain and improve test automation frameworks for a sophisticated tax calculation platform. You'll work closely with developers, product owners, and QA team members to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Designing and maintaining automated test scripts for UI, API, and load testing
2. Using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, SpecFlow, and others to validate functionality and performance
3. Collaborating on behaviour-driven development using Gherkin-style feature files
4. Running load tests to ensure system reliability under pressure
5. Documenting test results, logging bugs, and working closely with developers to resolve issues
6. Contributing to the continuous integration and delivery process by integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
The Person
We're looking for someone with a proactive mindset and a genuine interest in test automation. Ideally, you will bring 1–2 years of hands-on experience in automation testing and a desire to grow within a supportive and experienced team.
Essential skills and experience:
1. Solid experience in writing automated tests using Selenium and/or Playwright
2. Familiarity with SpecFlow and BDD frameworks
3. Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured
4. Exposure to load testing methodologies and tools
5. Proficiency in C# and understanding of Git version control
6. Familiarity with integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
7. Agile team experience, including participation in standups and sprint planning
