Job title: Duty Manager (Swimming Pool & Leisure)
Pay range: £23,432 -£25,363 per annum (based on qualifications and experience)
Hours: Full time - 39 hours per week. Part time may be considered
We are looking for an enthusiastic Duty Manager to join our friendly team, delivering a wide programme of swimming and other leisure activities at our popular Co-educational Boarding School site near Banbury, Oxfordshire.
The role will assist in supervising the day to day running of all leisure facilities (includes the 25 meter swimming pool, plant, climbing wall, sports hall and gym) ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to a first class standard.
The successful candidate will:
· Have a proven track record working at a swimming pool, leisure or fitness centre
· Be committed to providing outstanding customer service.
· Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Have experience of supervising staff and ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to by staff and those using the facilities
· Be able to deliver swimming lessons for school age children (qualified to Level 2) or willing to train.
This role will be required to work on a rota basis which includes weekends and evenings, throughout the year.
