This role requires a blend of technical, creative, and interpersonal skills to design effective training programs and learning experiences. Key responsibilities : Work collaboratively with the business and L&D teams to identify areas where learning will make a difference by improving business performance. Using our learning design methodology, effectively prioritize and manage solutions in line with business requirements. Build and maintain relationships with both UK, European, and US stakeholders · Apply instructional design methods to create well structured, engaging courses and resources that educate, embed knowledge and deliver the intended measurable results. Develop innovative interactive learning content and experiences using a range of appropriate media including e-learning, audio, video, and other digital media. Ensure learning is developed to a consistently high quality and meets our company branding guidelines, internal standards and regulatory requirements. Simultaneously manage multiple, complex projects with tight deadlines and time-critical deliverables through their entire life cycle. Participate in the internal quality assurance cycle to review and evaluate learning developed internally. Ensure appropriate evaluation methods are used to determine return on investment · Work collaboratively with LMS Administrator to ensure all digital content is uploaded, reportable and available in a timely manner for colleagues to access Mentor and develop colleagues fostering their growth by providing feedback, sharing best practice and offering guidance on complex projects. Skills and experience : Instructional Design Principles and Models Knowledge - Understanding of core instructional design models like ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate), Bloom’s Taxonomy, and Kirkpatrick’s Evaluation Model. Learning Theories and Cognitive Psychology Knowledge - Familiarity with adult learning theories such as andragogy (adult learning principles), constructivism, behaviourism, and cognitivism. Technology in Learning (eLearning and Digital Platforms) Knowledge - Mastery of various eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Elucidat) and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Business Acumen and Organisational Strategy Knowledge - A solid understanding of the business objectives, organizational culture. Multimedia Design and Visual Communication Basic proficiency in multimedia production, including video editing, graphic design, and interactive media. Assessment and Evaluation Techniques - Familiarity with creating assessments that measure learning outcomes, such as quizzes, surveys, and knowledge checks, as well as evaluation methods to determine the effectiveness of training. Learning Analytics and Data Interpretation Expertis e - Instructional designers need expertise in using data to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make informed decisions on how to improve them. Change Management and Stakeholder Influence - Instructional designers need expertise in influencing stakeholders and managing organisational change through L&D initiatives.
