KURY UK Ltd is part of an international company, Kury Groupe, 100% dedicated to the nuclear field and created 22 years ago. We are involved in several nuclear projects, including FA3 EPR (France), the French fleet, Taishan EPR (China), Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C.

SUITABLE CANDIDATE
You enjoy analyzing concrete problems, finding solutions and then setting them up. Getting involved in significant industrial and engineering projects involving very demanding precautions as regards industrial safety captivates you. Your good analytical skills, sense of logic, aptitude for synthesizing and your scientific knowledge will allow you to adapt quickly to multi-system environments. THE ROLE
As a Configuration Engineer you will be responsible for keeping the contracts’ configuration in compliance with the project. This will be achieved through: the management and the resolution of open-points and changes related to Design, Manufacturing and Qualification, technical oversight of the contracts, and the surveillance of technical documentation.
Your typical activities include, but are not limited to the following:
* Configuration management, through the control and management of the evolution of the contract and design changes.
* Liaise with RD and client teams to ensure integration of equipment with interfacing functions/systems.
* Leading technical meetings.
* Technical surveillance and resolution of issues/queries.
* Review and approval of design where necessary.
* Review of non-conformances and exemption requests, open points, design changes.
* Review and approval of contract amendments and exemptions (CTSs, ERs).
* Liaise with RD and client management teams to communicate progress, risks, issues and planning to support contract delivery.
* Reporting of KPIs to the CEL.
During the first months, you can count on the KURY Team to assist you all along your projects. This experience will give you the opportunity to move on to other projects in the medium term: you will tackle varied but complementary projects, studies and technical topics. Your understanding of the technical and environmental challenges will allow you to take on complex and critical transversal studies.
REQUIRED SKILLS
* Understanding of the EPR or general PWR design.
* Understanding of Equipment interfaces (safety case, systems engineering, CDM).
* Experience using change-management, commercial and deliverable management systems (UKDC, UKICM, OPM, CEMAR, Teamcenter).
* Contract management and documentary surveillance.
* Good management skills, ability to deal with different stakeholders and to meet commitments and deadlines.
* IT literate.
* French-speaking would be an advantage.
