Job Title: Skilled Machinist
Division: Weir Minerals
Location: Onsite, Todmorden
Purpose of Role:
We are in search of a Skilled Machinist to operate CNC vertical borers and additional machinery. The role entails machining diverse components in Chrome Irons and SG Irons, utilizing Fanuc Controls within a medium to heavy setting.
Operators will be tasked with manufacturing components to precise specifications, maintaining a high standard of quality while prioritizing safety. They must also be proficient in editing programs and adjusting tool settings.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
7. Completed apprenticeship in relevant sector
8. Experience in CNC machining is essential
9. Experience machining castings is desirable
10. Background in heavy engineering
11. Proven track record of machining parts to precise specifications
12. Knowledgeable in programming
