We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, flexible, and positive individual to join our team of administrators at Stable Fold Surgery. IT skills are essential. Experience of working in the NHS and knowledge of TPP Systm One is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
The position is part-time, 24-28 hours per week. The ability to be fully flexible to cover colleagues' holiday/sickness is essential.
You will act as a first point of contact for all patients, relatives, doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff. Previous reception experience would be desirable, and the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure is important. Applicants should have excellent communication skills and a positive can-do attitude.
Main duties of the job
1. Dealing with patients face to face booking appointments
2. Answering the phone and dealing with patient queries
3. Completing repeat prescriptions
4. Completing daily tasks sent from clinicians
5. Scanning of hospital letters
6. Choose and book referrals, including typing the letters dictated by the clinicians.
About us
We are a small friendly training practice, and our team consists of 2 GP Partners, 2 salaried GPs, 1 ANP, 2 Practice nurses, 1 HCA, and a supportive admin team.
We perform well both in BQC & Qof.
We also have ARRS staff who work for the Westhoughton PCN consisting of MSK, MH Practitioner, Clinical Pharmacists, Visiting Paramedics, social prescribers, GP Assistants, Care Coordinators, and Health Improvement practitioners.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* The post requires as a minimum, the following skills:
* GCSE 4 or above
* Caring and Friendly
* Able to cope with sensitive information confidentially
* Experience within a Primary Care or NHS setting is preferable but not essential.
* TPP Systm One trained
