They deliver integral support and services to military personnel, RAF Stations and RAF Sport Associations - ultimately, they think everyone, regardless of their role, rank, physical ability or competing level, should have access to sports facilities, equipment and training. About the role: Salary £28,000 (full-time salary) Part-time (30 hours per week) or full-time (37.5 hours per week) 30 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays Contributable pension Private health insurance Death in service benefit Other health & wellbeing benefits The charity is evolving, and they are looking for an organised and efficient individual to support the Fund's Finance department. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounts payable and they will enjoy a hybrid working environment, based at home with occasional visits to the Fund's office near Marlow, Buckinghamshire. Key responsibilities: Ensure the accurate input and maintenance of the financial records on finance software including Sage Intacct and Yooz Provide financial administrative support including the processing of receipts, payments and expenses including the preliminary review of authorisation of expenditure by budget holders Support the administration of the bank account and processor of bank payments Act as a point of contact for account or payment queries from RAF Sports Associations, suppliers, grant recipients or other third parties as required Support with the input of journal entries and reconcile prepayment, accrual and deferred accounts Assist with the reconciliation, on a monthly basis, of trade debtors and creditors Raise sales and intercompany invoices and ensure intercompany accounts balance Ensure compliance with the Fund's policies and procedures in all aspects of work Undertake other duties as may be reasonably required in support of the Fund's objectives as required and any other duties as may be identified by the Finance Manager and Head of Finance This role profile is not exhaustive and is subject to review in conjunction with the post holder according to future developments in the charity.
