Developers play a key role throughout an iterative and dynamic delivery cycle by working with business analysts, quality assurance engineers, project managers, and operations staff. We are in search of a Murex Business Analyst / Project Manager with extensive experience in FX trading systems to lead the migration from Murex version 2.11 to 3.1. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Murex functionalities, particularly in FX modules, and will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that ensure a seamless transition, minimising disruption to business operations. Key Responsibilities: Design and architect Murex solutions tailored to FX business requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards. Analyse existing FX workflows and identify areas for optimization in the new version. Lead technical discussions and workshops with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and traders. Oversee the migration process, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for migration processes, system architecture, and user guides. Conduct training sessions for end-users and technical teams on new features and functionalities in Murex 3.1. Act as the primary point of contact for all Murex-related queries during the migration project. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support throughout the migration process. The Murex Business Analyst / Project Manager will be required to possess the following skills/experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 7 years of experience in Murex systems, with a focus on FX trading. Proven experience leading Murex migration projects, specifically from 2.x to 3.x versions. Strong understanding of FX products, trading workflows, and risk management. Expertise in Murex configuration, integration, and customization. Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management. Familiarity with middleware solutions and APIs related to Murex.
