The Role
This is a hybrid role based in a regional EMEA office or remote within the region.
The Segment Market Manager is responsible for defining and managing market strategies and activities that lead to profitable growth for assigned markets. Specifically, this role translates market strategies into actionable execution plans. The Segment Market Manager is accountable for the activities within assigned markets and delivers results within established strategies, including necessary offer adjustments. This role requires leading strategy routines and building Market Segment Plans in collaboration with the Regional Business Team (RBT) comprising cross-functional members across Sales, Marketing, Technical Services, and Finance.

Responsibilities
* Responsible for the management of offers as assigned in the context of a cross-functional RBT.
* Actively drives opportunities to closure at the segment level through RBT routines.
* Supports the Performance Films Leadership team in driving initiatives to meet product strategy and targets.
* Maintains the Addressable Market Map and existing offers through routines with the RBT.
* Develops strategies for the market segment in collaboration with the Commercial Manager and other key stakeholders in RBT.
* Makes recommendations on initiatives from strategies via the annual marketing plan (including resource cost and expected results).
* Oversees results from the overall market (i.e., all initiatives and results) and recommends adjustments or reallocations of resources.
* Leads the multi-generational plan development with a cross-functional team to ensure long-term share targets are achieved.
* Manages growth projects and activation plans based on market strategies within the Addressable Market Map.
* Leads, directs, and develops the capability of marketing team members (direct reports), if applicable.
* To coach others in the use of EBME tools.
* Draws conclusions from multiple sources of intelligence to create insights that support strategies.
* Networks and becomes an industry expert in assigned markets.

* Rotated through at least one of the following (at EMN or a prior company):
o Market Development Manager
o Commercial Leadership Development Program (MBA and 5 years prior work experience required)
o Product Manager
o Sales Manager
