Guaranteed hours are typically 48 per week, with shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, plus overtime and on-call duties. Shift rotation is 7 days on, 3 days off, then 7 days on, 3 days off, followed by 4 days on, 4 days off, working only 2 weekends per month.
A flexible working approach is essential, as working away from home may be required.
About Chevron Traffic Management
We set up temporary road closures, diversions, and pedestrian walkways to ensure safety during roadworks, involving cones, signage, traffic lights, and barriers. Our work is visible nationwide, and we also engage in planning, designing, estimating, and liaising with suppliers and clients to ensure effective schemes, incorporating innovation and technology to improve safety and reduce environmental impact.

Responsibilities
* Conduct traffic counts, communicate with clients and subcontractors, and monitor timings and near misses
* Maintain temporary traffic lights
* Install, maintain, and remove traffic management equipment like cones, signs, and barriers
* Assist and guide new trainees
Ideal Candidate
* SLG Unit 2 or M1/M2 qualification at minimum
* 12d Lantra qualification is highly desirable
* Knowledge of Chapter 8
* Full driving license with no more than 6 points; bans must be expired for at least 5 years
* Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
* Adaptability, flexibility, and attention to detail
