The Finance Division is looking for a Change and Engagement Manager. The role is key to the delivery of the University's Finance Transformation Project. You will work closely with sponsors, internal and external stakeholders to support change initiatives in meeting their objectives.
Sitting within the Finance Division on The Finance Transformation Programme (FTP), which is part of a series of change initiatives at Cambridge University, the aim is to embrace new ways of working to better support our staff and academic mission. These initiatives are closely linked to the University's priorities and will help ensure that the University continues to thrive in the future.
The Role
You will work with stakeholders and internal teams to support change initiatives in meeting objectives by increasing employee adoption and usage. Focusing on the people side of change - including changes to business processes, governance, data, technology, and ways of working. The primary responsibility will be the management of engagement and adoption across multiple university schools and departments to ensure readiness to embrace the new ways of working both at go live and beyond.
You will drive faster adoption, higher utilisation, and greater proficiency of the changes that impact staff to increase benefit realisation and achieve results and outcomes.
Your Skills
The right candidate will:
* Be pro-active and self-motivated with the ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal team members and wider university stakeholders.
* Have experience in change management principles and methodology and be able to apply those in practice.
* Be able to manage multiple complex projects and stakeholders while maintaining sight of the overall project outcomes and deadlines.
* Engage with a complex internal team while delivering easy to understand, engaging interactions with the wider schools and stakeholders.
* Possess excellent communication and listening skills - both written and verbal, combined with the ability to prepare and conduct high impact workshops and presentations.

Location
The University supports hybrid working, where some work is undertaken on University premises and some in a remote working environment where the role allows. Specific arrangements will be discussed at interview and will not form a part of the contractual terms of the role.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
