About Our Client
My client is a bespoke manufacturer in the Scottish Border. They have a world wide operation.
Job Description
3. Manage the finance team of 3
4. Assist with audit preparation for the Year end audit
5. Reconcile and approve Balance Sheet Accounts on a monthly basis
6. Analyse general ledger accounts for accuracy, extraordinary, aged items or unusual items.
7. Organise financial and accounting activities according to internal rules and procedures and company management requirements
8. Prepare/monitor cash flows and ensure all transactions are within financial guidelines, also to ensure timely payments to suppliers and collection of receivables from customers
9. Analyse budget versus actual results on a monthly basis and reconcile variances between them
10. Assist with payroll
The Successful Applicant
A Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is preferred but qualified by experience will be considered.
11. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
12. A strong background in accounting is required
13. Knowledge of Business Central or Microsoft Dynamics would be useful
