This is a busy, fast-paced, generalist opportunity, reporting to the HR Director. The role will partner with a number of sites around the UK, primarily based in the West Midlands; however, some travel is required based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic HR Partnering: Collaborate with leadership to develop HR strategies that support business objectives.
* Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor on all HR matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement.
* Performance Management: Oversee the performance appraisal process and guide managers on best practices for coaching, feedback, and development planning.
* Talent Development: Identify training needs, implement programs to upskill employees, and support succession planning efforts.
* Workforce Planning: Partner with managers to forecast staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
* Compliance and Policy: Ensure adherence to all HR policies and employment laws, and update policies as needed.
* Lead on DEI Initiatives
Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate will:
* Be CIPD qualified
* Have a proven track record operating as an HR Business Partner
* Ideally have exposure to working in a multi-site fast-paced environment
* Be able to start within 4 weeks
* Be commutable to Dudley 2-3 times per week, but also willing to travel to other sites as needed.
