Our client are a family business that has been trading for over half a century. They specialise in selling and serving market-leading machinery within the counties of Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
As the business continues to expand, we are pleased to be supporting them with a vacancy for an Office Administrator at their Worcester branch. This role requires liaising with customers over the phone, by email and in-person, therefore excellent communication is essential. You will provide general administrative and office support, be able to deal competently with service enquiries, providing quotes to customers as required, as well as giving friendly and courteous information where necessary.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Taking calls from customers regarding orders placed online and updating notes on the internal website portal
2. Communicating across all depots to make sure customers orders are processed efficiently and with accuracy
3. Using online chat facility to talk to customers through the website, providing advice on machines, parts and delivery details of order
4. Data entry ensuring a high level of accuracy
5. Online registration of machines
6. Responding to enquiries
7. General Admin duties including photocopying, filing, scanning, mailing, etc
Qualifications and Skills:
8. Computer literate, with previous working experience of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
9. Excellent communication skills
10. Excellent organisational skills
11. Must work well within a small team environment
12. Experience is essential
13. Willingness to learn is essential.
Hours Required:
14. Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm
15. Required to work some Saturdays in peak season
