Where I’d work: Bradford / Hybrid Working (Typically working from home 1 x day per week)
Work type: Permanent role, working full time, 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday between a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm. The role will require some weekend working on a rota basis.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Real Time Validation & Reporting Analyst to join us in the Central Control Team and be a part of helping us to ensure accuracy in the Storm Overflow Map.

Where you fit in?
You will work within the Central Control team and play a key role in ensuring accuracy in the Storm Overflow Map and providing real-time data support linked to new focus on regulatory requirements such as PFF, dry day spills and all spill verification for Annual Performance Reporting.
You will be responsible for administering the Storm Overflow Map, ensuring that monitoring equipment is performing satisfactorily and demonstrating an accurate picture of asset performance. This will include raising remedial work for monitoring equipment or Waste Operatives to address issues.
You will work closely with our River Health team to provide support with regulatory reporting requirements and collating, reporting and ensuring the appropriate commentary (reasons for missing data and corrective actions) is available for the annual data submission to the Environment Agency.
You will have two key accountabilities: Real-time validation (focussing on the maintenance and accuracy of the storm overflow (EDM) map) and Real-time reporting (providing regulatory reporting support to River Health for waste compliance).
What skills & qualifications are we looking for?
• Understanding of the Wastewater system
• Proven analytical skills, highly developed skills in accessing data from other corporate systems including Odyssey, SAP, SAP/WMS2, AI2, EDMS Asset Inventory, RTS, ROD, etc.
• Database and Spreadsheet expertise
• Advanced data handling and reporting skills
• Ability to formulate and present proposals
• Effective communication skills, an empathetic attitude
• Ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships
• Logical, methodical and able to think around problems
• Commitment and flexibility is key, along with the ability to cope under pressure, calmly and rationally in a sometimes stressful environment
• A team player – someone who supports colleagues and works with others to achieve the best outcome. Values the input of colleagues
• Diligent and strong attention to detail
• Proven track record of interpreting / compiling and data analysis is essential
• Qualifications to HND level or evidence of relevant experience in a numerical role.
• User of Microsoft Office Excel in addition to Word and PowerPoint.
