Our Client are delighted to be offering an Operations Assistant position to work from their Clevedon office. As an integral role within a small team, this hire will report to the Operations Supervisor and will play an important part across all aspects of the business. The Role • First port of call for customers & clients contacting the office. Responsible for taking all customer orders, including resolution of order related queries, whilst maintaining a high standard of customer service. • Managing the internal customer ordering system. Recording commercial contracts and processing customer orders, from the point of request through to generating customer invoices. • Handling logistics to ensure customer requirements are met, whilst liaising with hauliers and terminal personnel to ensure product is delivered in a timely manner. • Bringing own development to the table with a continual focus on efficiency of operations. • Assist with uploading sales & purchase invoices to our finance system, as well as other ad hoc finance duties. The Person • Excellent communication skills required for relationship management with customers, suppliers, and colleagues. • Decision making abilities at an operational level to respond to the daily tasks. • High level of organisational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to engage with all levels and functions across the business. • Highly motivated individual looking to support and add value, in a close-knit team. • Willing to develop a highly transferable set of skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors.
