ScottishPower’s Smart Field Services play a key role within one of the UK’s largest infrastructure programmes, to help ensure delivery of our annual smart meter installation targets. The Operational Planning Lead will work on short, medium and long term operational plans, which are critical to ScottishPower’s needs, to ensure Customers, Assets, Resources and Reporting are aligned.
What you’ll be doing
* Budget management and cost forecasting, to enable our goals to be achieved
* Report engineer utilisation and efficiency, to ensure our workforce is fully productive
* Forecast appointments, stock requirements, and meter installations
* Analysis of results, and assisting with action plans to address issues and improve performance
The role may suit a graduate level entry looking for an opportunity within a large infrastructure project, with a company who can offer real career development that meets personal and professional goals. We need our Operational Planning Lead to be inquisitive and passionate about building relationships and solving problems.
What you’ll bring
* Excellent communication skills, and the ability to explain complex problems
* Eager to learn and share knowledge across internal teams and external parties
* Numeracy skills with an understanding of financial planning
* Ability to design, implement and maintain reports
* Analytical skills required for problem solving
