BallyCara, a leading aged care organisation, is looking for a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Bundoora for 3–4 days per week. Key Responsibilities: Personalised Therapy: Deliver tailored therapy services to help elderly clients engage in meaningful activities that enhance their quality of life. Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Health Practitioner to develop and implement individualised care plans. Client Assessments: Assess and address the physical, cognitive, and emotional needs of clients to support their independence and well-being. Education and Support: Provide guidance and support to clients and their families, helping them feel empowered to manage care independently. Community Engagement: Travel within the community using your own car to provide therapy services to clients in their homes and local settings. Skills And Experiences What we're looking for Qualifications and Registration: Relevant qualifications and registration as an Occupational Therapist. Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Community Occupational Therapist, ideally in a similar setting. Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team. Passion for Aged Care: A genuine commitment to improving the quality of life for elderly individuals. Autonomy: Ability to work independently and manage your responsibilities in a new region.
