Hours and Rota: 42.5 hours per week. Cluster Student Safety Team Leaders work 5 night shifts out of 7, between the hours of 10.00pm and 07:00am. Shift pattern variations may apply.
Salary: £35,002 - £36,421 per annum (depending on experience), plus bonus and benefits.
Essential: Experience as a Line Manager, Supervisor, Team Leader or Duty Manager.

We are looking for people with positive attitudes and a caring nature to join our Customer Operations Team as Cluster Student Safety Team Leader and help us provide outstanding service to the students who live with us.
You will be leading from the centre of a Student Safety Team in your Cluster and Region, making sure that we maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming night-time environment for our students. This includes lending an ear or helping hand to students in need, responding to 'in the moment' situations and being a point of escalation for your team.
You will be able to:
* Support the Regional Night Manager to build and develop a motivated, engaged, and high-performance team.
* Manage a medium sized team across a Cluster of properties.
* Be responsible for the routine activities of your team, including delegation of tasks, setting targets, and working alongside them to achieve these.
* Support the training and development of your team members to help them reach their potential.
* Take accountability for your team’s responsiveness in solving our students’ problems.
* Support our students’ wellbeing should they find themselves in vulnerable or difficult situations.
* Be responsible for the safety and security of the building, making sure your team conducts the necessary checks.
You will lead from the front to:
* Ensure the running of an engaged and high performing team.
* Provide a welcoming front of house reception service.
* Conduct regular building checks to make sure that our buildings are clean, safe, and secure.
* Undertake ad hoc housekeeping and maintenance duties as needed.
* Be comfortable managing and working between a Cluster (and Region) of sites.
* Deliver training sessions, workshops and toolbox talks to your team.
What we look for in you:
* A self-starter, able to work under instruction as well as on initiative.
* Experience as a Line Manager, Supervisor, Team Leader or Duty Manager.
* Comfortable working overnight across a city, as part of a team.
* A confident operator able to lead, manage and motivate a team.
* Able to delegate tasks fairly, bearing in mind your team’s strengths and weaknesses.
* Able to make quick and decisive responses to 'in the moment' events.
* Effective communicator, actively listening and making points logically.
* Remain calm and focused, even in difficult or pressurised situations.
* Detail-oriented; nothing escapes your eye.
* Confident working both on your own or as part of a team.
* Understand and respect the diversity of others’ cultures, beliefs, and backgrounds.
