Job Title: SEN Tutor Location: England, South East England, Oxfordshire Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Job Duties: Provide one-to-one support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Develop and implement individualised educational plans to meet the specific needs of each student Assist students in improving their academic performance and achieving their learning goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of SEN policies and procedures Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of different learning styles and strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students reach their full potential Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs Experience using assistive technology in the classroom Working Conditions: Work primarily during school hours May require occasional evening or weekend work for meetings or events Work closely with students, teachers, and parents in a collaborative and supportive environment All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
