The Position
The Opportunity
Sensor & Cartridge Operations manufactures sensors, stripes, electrochemical electrodes and calibration solutions for our Point-of-Care analysis instruments.
As a Supply Chain and Planning Specialist, you work in a dynamic and versatile environment. You will be responsible for the production program of the LumiraDx stripes portfolio. Additionally, you will support the standardization and improvement of planning processes, sharing responsibility for the efficient management of our production operations. You will actively engage with key stakeholders within Sensor & Cartridge Operations to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Location: On-site in Bathgate, Scotland
Key responsibilities:
* Establish the production program to ensure full supply and timely delivery of orders of the LumiraDx sensor portfolio to Mannheim
* Secure market supply through appropriate planning and control activities, including escalation of conflicts in a timely manner and lead of action teams as needed
* Determine material requirements planning parameters such as safety stocks or order quantities, as well as material phase-in/out planning and coordination with production and suppliers
* Responsible for inventory management of semi-finished products
* Maintain close and proactive cooperation with stakeholders including Global Supply Chain, Production, Manufacturing Science & Technology, Direct Procurement

You bring the following profile:
* You have a completed degree in business administration or a related field
* Several years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Chain, or Purchasing functions, as well as several years of experience in Operations in general
* High interface and communication competence, as well as an independent working style and teamwork ability
* Strong communication skills and the ability to address sensitive topics round out your profile
* Good knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP
As this position is part of a global organization, international business travel may occasionally be required.
