Unify are delighted to be recruiting for a Head of Recruitment to be based near Hemel Hempstead. You will be joining a leading provider of Plant Hire, Transport and Haulage service throughout the UK who are currently undergoing remarkable growth.
We are searching for an experienced recruitment leader with a strategic mindset to drive our continued success and ambitious growth plans. This on-site role provides the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most influential professionals in the industry.
What do I need?
* Strong leadership experience in strategic recruitment within a relevant industry.
* Background in plant hire and machinery.
* Proficiency in Syrinx and Microsoft Office.
* A track record of setting and achieving long-term recruitment goals.
* Experience managing and scaling a CRM system.
* Proven success in developing and executing a national recruitment strategy.
* Excellent people management abilities.
* Highly collaborative, able to pivot according to business priorities, and confident working with stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities:
* Act as the link between business units and the recruitment team, devising strategic plans and delivering tailored solutions for hiring needs.
* Lead and mentor the internal recruitment team, supporting their career development through coaching, commercial insights, and ongoing guidance.
* Work closely with senior directors, leadership teams, sales, and hire desk departments to assess hiring challenges, identify skills gaps, and align recruitment efforts.
* Develop, implement, and manage a top-tier recruitment strategy that supports the company’s rapid growth trajectory.
* Define the talent attraction proposition and build a robust pipeline, forecasting recruitment needs for a specific sector within the business.
* Foster strong relationships with operators, foremen, and new hires while proactively addressing any retention concerns.
* Champion the company’s values and act as a brand ambassador in all recruitment efforts
