About the Role: You'll be responsible for helping run sections within the kitchen with precision and efficiency. You will assist in preparing a variety of fresh, seasonal dishes for the pubs dynamic menu. Whether it's creating mouth-watering pub classics or exploring new twists on traditional recipes, you'll play a key part in maintaining the high standards that the team is known for. About the Client: Our client is a traditional British pub known for its welcoming atmosphere and exceptional food. Located in a vibrant community, the pub prides itself on offering a blend of timeless dishes with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The team is dedicated to providing both locals and visitors with an unforgettable experience. Working Hours: This is a full-time role, with guaranteed hours ranging from 30 to 48 per week. Flexibility is available, ensuring that you have a good work-life balance while contributing to the pubs success. Key Duties: Ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standard. Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen at all times (the kitchen recently secured a five start hygiene rating and standards must be maintained) Assisting the other chefs with menu planning and daily specials. Ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Ensuring all food is prepared to meet dietary requirements and customer expectations. Key Requirements: Proven experience within the Kitchen, ideally within a busy pub or restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen safety. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
