* Knowledge That Matters: A solid understanding of the Children's Homes Regulations, The Children's Act, and Children's rights is essential for providing the best care.
* Qualifications That Make a Difference: A QCF Level 3/4 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) will ensure you are fully equipped for the role.
* Skills to Connect: They're looking for someone who can engage with young people in a positive, proactive way, staying calm under pressure while being empathetic, reliable, and a good listener.
* Practical Abilities: Strong communication skills, excellent time management, and the ability to assess and manage risks are key to success in this role.
