EDF is at the forefront of Britain's net zero journey, and we're looking for talented and ambitious Commercial Managers to join our expanding Hinkley Point C (HPC) team.
At HPC you'll work on a multi-billion-pound mega project, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK, that will provide low carbon electricity for millions of homes for decades to come.

What you'll be doing
1. As a Senior Commercial/Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee the daily management of Commercial and Supply Chain Managers and their Assistants, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
2. You will ensure that all commercial team activities align with established procedures and oversee the development and delivery of a robust Commercial and Contract Strategy.
3. You will manage stakeholder engagement, addressing risks related to Contract Delivery, Suppliers, and the Supply Chain.
4. In the procurement phase, you will support the Commercial Lead by reviewing procurement routes and ensuring alignment with project schedules. During the execution phase, you will lead contract management, ensuring compatibility across projects, including Scope of Work, Prices, Key Personnel, and Contract Administration.
5. Finally, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the closeout phase of each contract, ensuring all requirements are met and finalised.
Who you are
1. We're looking for proven and experienced Senior Commercial Managers, with experience in FIDIC and NEC 3&4 suite of contracts and major projects, as well as knowledge of UK law and its impact upon the contracts and commercial function. You'll also demonstrate a good understanding of procurement, contract performance measurement, risk, change and claim management.
2. You'll be able to work across multiple discipline teams to develop, implement, and operate commercial strategies and contractual agreements. You'll have a big-picture view and be able to develop and execute innovative approaches to commercial delivery for the benefit of the project.
3. Member of the RICS / CICES / IOB / CIPS or equivalent professional body is desirable.
