Position: Repairs Manager

Think Recruitment is currently looking for a Repairs Manager to help achieve future ambitions with a well-established social housing provider in the Midlands.
The Repairs Manager will work on a hybrid basis, mixing between home, office, and site work, while writing reports and attending high-level meetings.
Duties:
* Assist and manage the smooth delivery of a quality customer-focused service, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through agreed work scheduling and maximizing operational & commercial efficiency of the team.
* Organize and carry out multiple quality inspections and works surveys to properties within a defined geographical area, including investment and responsive repairs inspections while managing quality on the contract.
* Monitor the quality of workmanship completed by operatives, ensuring standards are maintained in accordance with the Group's and contractual expectations.
* Manage and organize a team of operatives to deliver works, liaising with sub-contractors, tenants, clients, and main contractors.
* Be proactive in the implementation of Health and Safety.
* Ensure works completed are to the highest standard and are correctly completed the first time as reasonably practicable.
Requirements:
* Participate in the out-of-hours emergency repair service as a manager on rota.
* Experience in repairs and the maintenance environment at managerial level.
* Ability to make assertive decisions to resolve complex issues related to work and repairs.
* Minimum of HNC/D or equivalent in Building Studies/Surveying Discipline.
* Full UK Driving License.
Hours:
* 40 hours per week.
