Job Purpose
To support the timely delivery, development and surveillance of suppliers in accordance with Company policies, procedures and department objectives.
This role can be based at our Dunfermline or Newcastle site.
Job Description
Your main accountabilities will be to:
1. Identify and lead implementation efforts of Supplier Quality objectives that improve quality, reduce lead time and cost of TechnipFMC products/services.
2. Attend Witness and Hold points on behalf of TechnipFMC, perform inspections at the suppliers as part of source inspection and drop shipment processes.
3. Execute Enhanced Surveillance and Expediting processes at the suppliers.
4. Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance TechnipFMC processes.
5. Conduct HSE walkthroughs and assessments, promote HSE culture in supply chain.
Skills
1. Substantial industry experience in production, technical or quality departments.
2. Time Management - prioritizing business critical issues to ensure agreed delivery dates and terms are maintained and ability to manage deadlines/prioritize workload.
3. Good understanding of engineering documentation, ability to read and understand engineering drawings, documents and procedures to improve and maintain quality and deliverables.
4. Good organization and project planning skills.
5. Working knowledge of MS Office applications and SAP.
6. Experience in Oil and gas industry.
7. NDE, Welding experience and certifications.
8. Ability to lead change and independently create and implement functional and cost effective processes that meet complex specification requirements.
9. Team player and capable of working on own initiative.
10. Strong communication skills with an analytical mindset.
