MLK Search has recently been assigned to support this Specialist Free School for children with Autism to appoint a dynamic, experienced teacher to lead on Maths and Science. The school provides education to children and young people aged 4 to 16, helping to build on their strengths, learning, confidence, and enjoyment
Ofsted recently graded the school as Good after the prior assessment of Requires Improvement. The progress underlines the improvement journey so far, though they are far from satisfied and continue to embed practice. One of a handful of schools within an education charity, there are currently plans to establish an additional provision on site, and numerous other provisions where impact and reach can extend far and wide.
Due to increased pupil numbers and the enhancement in the offer of mathematics and science throughout, they wish to add an inspiring educator to lead both curriculum areas. As a teacher capable of inspiring pupils through your energy and enthusiasm for your subject, you will:
* be responsible for high quality autism specific education and development of a class / group of children with ASD.
* work to foster a love of the subject at every level and promoting it within the school.
* ensure high standards of teaching, learning and achievement, efficient use of resources and creative development of both the Maths and Science curriculum.
The school follows teacher's pay and conditions, offering a highly attractive salary and pension package, as well as an array of benefits including a EAP, wellbeing programme, complimentary breakfast, and termly awards of up £200!
More importantly, they offer the opportunity to play a part in highly rewarding work, as part of an ambitious and supportive team.
