Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Braintree, Essex
Pay: £12.00 – £12.74 per hour
Hours: Flexible shifts available
About the Role:
Are you compassionate, dedicated, and reliable? We’re looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to work in Braintree, Essex. In this role, you’ll provide person-centered care and support, helping individuals live independent, fulfilling lives while respecting their dignity and personal preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
2. Offer emotional support and companionship.
3. Help individuals participate in community activities, hobbies, and interests.
4. Empower individuals to achieve personal goals and enhance independence.
5. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
6. Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and team members to deliver tailored care plans.
Requirements:
1. At least 6 months of UK support worker experience.
2. Previous experience working with Adults with: Autism Spectrum Conditions, Behaviours that may challenge, Complex Health Needs, Complex needs, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Physical Disabilities, Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities, Restricted Mobility, Severe Learning Disabilities.
3. DBS on the Update Service.
4. Right to work in the UK.
About You:

4. Experience: Previous care experience is highly desirable.
5. Qualifications: Relevant Health & Social Care qualifications are a plus.
6. Driving License: A valid license and access to a vehicle are advantageous.
