Lead Nurse for Acute Paediatrics
Are you ready to inspire and lead? We are offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Paediatric Nurse to join the Homerton and lead the development of Starlight Ward, our Acute Paediatrics and Outpatient Department.
Job Summary
Main duties of the job:
1. Provide strategic, operational and clinical nursing leadership within Community and Children's Services (CCS Division) to ensure and consistently develop a high-quality efficient nursing service for patients.
2. Deliver a clinical transformation programme for acute paediatric nursing, supported by the Deputy Chief Nurse.
3. Work as a pivotal member of the multi-disciplinary team and develop a Children's Virtual Ward service.
4. Assist with governance, patient quality and safety standards and improve the patient experience within the Division.
5. Play a vital role in shaping the future of acute paediatric services.
6. Focus on the co-ordination of services and pathways to optimise the integration of acute and community services within the Trust.
