Learning & Development Administrator
Location: Stevenage (Hybrid working)
Contract: 12 Month Contract
Salary: £16 per hour
ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients with the recruitment of a Learning & Development Administrator on an initial 12 month basis.
The L&D Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day running of training rooms and supporting the L&D advisors.
Responsibilities:
* Managing the smooth running of the training facilities at all three sites.
* Working with external agencies, such as company venue booking agency, training providers, and our managed service provider.
* Performing a range of activities within our training management system, including updating records, deleting duplicate requests, checking, and correcting data.
* Responding to a wide range of L&D-related enquiries/problems/situations.
* Working with other departments in the business to secure the support required for the running of training courses.
* Taking responsibility for administration for a designated set of training courses.
* Providing administration support for the experienced apprenticeships schemes.
* Managing the security refresher training process, ensuring all training is carried out within required timescales.
Requirements:
* Previous experience of organising training events or working in a learning administrator role.
* Great written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to solve problems.
* The ability to develop good working relationships with internal and external trainers, suppliers, and delegates, and to be a great ambassador for the L&D team and HR function.
* The ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
* Great organisational and planning skills, with the ability to think ahead, identify potential problems, and find solutions.
* Excellent IT skills, including MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and the ability to quickly learn new tools and systems.
