JOB TITLE: Deputy Headteacher

GRADE: L17 - L21
REQUIRED: 1st September 2025
The Role
The successful candidate will:
1. Provide excellent leadership and management to embed the vision and values of the School and the Trust and to secure the highest possible outcomes for students across the school;
2. Take responsibility for the school in the absence of the Headteacher;
3. Take full responsibility for leading and managing significant strategic initiatives in the school under the overall direction of the Headteacher.
The Person
* Has a minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience and a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Headteacher or member of Headship Team.
* Inspirational and well-qualified teacher.
* Has high expectations for all pupils.
* Possesses excellent listening and communication skills.
* Displays a high level of organisational skills, both verbal and written.
* Displays a high level of organisational and time management proficiency.
* Cultivates a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging intellectual curiosity and critical thinking.
* Exemplifies the values and ethos of the school as a positive role model.
* Collaborates as a team player, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to contributing actively to a full program of extra-activities.
* Exhibits excellent people management skills.
