Job summary The Central Monmouthshire Integrated Service Team work across Monmouthshire to enable people to remain independent in their own homes through the provision of community-based health and social care services. We are looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Team lead Occupational Therapist to join the Central Monmouthshire Integrated Services based at Monnow Vale community hospital. Main duties of the job As Lead Occupational Therapist, you will provide clinical and professional leadership to therapists within the Integrated Team, as well as being an integral part of the wider multidisciplinary service comprising Social Work, Physiotherapy, District nursing and our reablement service. You will be expected to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with a range of professionals and community organisations, in order to support individuals who access our service. You will have day-to-day operational management of Occupational therapy staff delivering interventions for individuals living in the community and inpatients ward in Monnow Vale Community Hospital along with delivery clinical interventions to a designated caseload. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
