GI Group are now seeking to appoint a Training Engineer to our client based in Worksop. The Training Engineer will (when trained) act as Course Leader/Lead Tutor and will deliver a range of centre-based technical courses involving Mobile Hydraulic Systems. They will also be involved in the delivery and support of Hydraulic courses, including Electro-Hydraulics and Electro-Pneumatics (training will be provided).
Main Duties of the Training Engineer:
1. Deliver training to candidates taking CETOP and competence-based programmes at Levels 1, 2, and 3 and complete assessments.
2. Work closely with colleagues to develop mobile practical training facilities embracing electronics and control.
3. Assist in developing new courses, presentations, and lab-based exercises.
4. Ensure that candidates always apply safe working practices.
5. Ensure that the necessary equipment and resources are available and maintained in readiness for course delivery.
6. Work closely with Senior Leadership to identify new business opportunities.
Role Requirements:
1. Have at least 5 years of experience involving the maintenance and management of Mobile systems involving hydraulics and control.
2. Qualified to at least level 3 in mobile hydraulics.
3. The ability to assess practical skills.
4. The ability to communicate effectively with customers and candidates.
5. Experience using a range of Microsoft Applications, with advanced PowerPoint Presentation skills.
