Job Details: Older People’s Services has 8 residential services across Fife. The successful candidate will work on a rota basis within the care home, including early shifts, late shifts, and a period of night duty. Unsocial hours will be paid at the basic rate plus 1/3 hourly rate. We are looking for motivated and driven individuals with a genuine interest in the care and support of older people, providing support to enable service users to access activities and achieve their personal outcomes.
The Person: Must have or be able to work towards the required qualification SVQ 2, as required by the Scottish Social Services Council. Provide care and support that meets the Health and Social Care standards. Must be able to work with other Council services and partner agencies. You should be able to work flexibly and creatively within a dynamic and ambitious team. To ensure you achieve registration with the SSSC within 6 months of starting in a new role, you must apply for registration within 3 months of your start date. If you do not currently hold a benchmark qualification, your registration will be granted subject to the condition that you achieve the required qualification within the defined timeframe.
