Job Overview:
We are a local construction company seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:
1. 5+ years of proven work experience as a bookkeeper/office administrator
2. Ability to process payroll accurately for both union and non-union employees
3. Ability to accurately complete monthly union reports
4. Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Job Costing
5. Experience to accurately calculate Receiver General and HST remittances
6. Experience with QuickBooks accounting software
7. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets
8. Experience to Trial Balance and Year-End account analysis & reconciliation
9. Experience in completing Bank Reconciliations for multiple bank accounts
10. Attention to detail and problem solving skills
11. Ability to work with little supervision
12. Ability to price and order construction materials for multiple projects
13. Reconcile credit card statements
14. Other duties as assigned
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
