Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners. Your leadership skills will be essential in guiding and managing the nursery team while ensuring that each child's individual needs are met.
Duties
1. Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the developmental needs of children.
2. Create a safe and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and learning.
3. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's development.
4. Manage daily activities within the nursery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
5. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
6. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in early childhood education.
7. Collaborate with other educators to share ideas and improve teaching strategies.
Qualifications
1. Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
2. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is highly desirable.
3. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
4. Demonstrated leadership abilities with the drive to manage a team effectively.
5. A passion for fostering children's growth and development through play-based learning.
6. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative.
