Working with a key client of mine, I'm looking to help find & recruit a Site Manager with experience in light weight steel frame apartment schemes, who's also got their NVQ Level 6 qualification.
My client is a housing contractor, known & respected for delivering housing & apartments to the affordable market in & around Greater Manchester and the wider North West, for Housing Associations, Registered Providers & Councils alike.
They've grown a lot in the last 5 years and are continuing to grow which means this could be an exciting time to join with lots of opportunity for progression & further development in the near future, at a rate of knots much faster than the PLC's & larger regional contractors & house builders.
In the meantime, they're offering a relatively relaxed environment where they empower the Site Manager to actually run their site with the right level of support but not meddling from the visiting Contracts Manager.
Looking ahead to the project here, their repeat client have set them a challenge to deliver 32 apartments in a light weight steel frame, in Stockport. Given changes to the building regulations & building safety act they specifically need a manager leading this project, who is qualified to at least NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management (or equivalent level via degree).
On offer is a salary of between £50,000 & £55,000 basic salary plus the usual car allowance and trimmings. The project is set to start in early September so they're keen to interview ASAP and make a move to secure the right individual.
