The Role As we continue to grow and evolve, we’re looking for an innovative and experienced leader to develop our training approach, supporting effective change and addressing the challenges that come with it. This is a pivotal position within our organisation, focusing on leading and shaping our training strategy to ensure our people have the skills, knowledge, and expertise needed for technology and process changes, enabling them to excel in their roles. You will be collaborating with a diverse team to make a significant impact on our training and Change Management initiatives. Flexible working hours will be considered. The role will offer hybrid working, based from Harrogate (HG2 7DL). Please note that this position is not suitable for fully remote applicants, as regular on-site collaboration in Harrogate is essential. Key Responsibilities To create and deliver a Group-wide systems, technology & process training strategy and approach, aligned to our Change Management approach and the need of our change portfolio. Develop and deliver a range of training methods tailored to different learning styles, based on the need and scale of the training and to maximise sustained learning. Lead, influence and provide guidance on systems, technology and process training matters. To own our technology training tools (currently ClickLearn). To collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure the relevant expertise and approaches are built into the overall systems, technology and process training approach. Create a network of training champions and provide guidance and support for them to create and deliver system, technology and process training within the group wide strategy and approach using appropriate training methods. To continuously evaluate the effectiveness of our systems, technology and process training in line with business needs and against key performance indicators. To provide support, advice and guidance to SMEs and change practitioners, and wider group on training to ensure best practice and compliance is maintained. What You Bring Experience in a training role, with a proven track record of writing, delivering and evaluating technology training materials, documentation and training processes. Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage multiple cross functional stakeholders and work collaboratively with others. Demonstratable understanding of the benefits of connecting learning and development practices and technical technology training. A logical thinker with a problem solving and technology mindset, and a deep understanding and experience of effective technology training assessment criteria and processes. Open and positive to change with the ability to lead and support people through periods of change. Seeks to understand the needs of the customer with passion for driving continuous improvement and innovation. Previous experience of coaching or supporting others. Knowledge of best training practices ideally within an FMCG or similar operations environment and strong IT proficiency across Microsoft 365.
