We are looking for experienced and committed care assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector.
You will be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users and building positive relationships with them and their family, whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.

Meet our service user
Our service user is a kind and caring lady in her late 20’s, who requires a mixture of 1:1 and 2:1 care throughout the day and evening.
She is currently residing in a care setting, and we are building a care team to support her transition back home to her adapted bungalow in Durham, where she lives with her mum.
She is very sociable lady, and we are looking for bubbly and outgoing individuals to provide companionship and help her spend time with her friends and family, as well as assisting her to access the community.
Her interests include reading, watching television and spending time in the garden. When the weather allows, she would love for her care team to support her with gardening tasks.
She also has many beloved pets including dogs, cats and horses, so it is essential that you are comfortable around animals.
As part of her care team, you will undertake visits of 1-2 hours throughout the morning, afternoon and evening, ensuring that her care needs are met.
She is unable to mobilise independently and is reliant on her care team to support her daily activities, from meal preparation to medication administration, personal care, moving and handling and clinical interventions.
Please note, it is essential that you hold a valid UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle.

Please note, our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience in following areas:
1. 3 months' previous care experience
2. Medication Administration
3. Personal Care
4. Moving and Handling
5. Valid Driver’s licence
Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, however is not essential to be considered for this role:
6. Spinal injury management
7. Catheter Care
8. Cough assist
9. Awareness of Autonomic Dysreflexia
Shifts Available
Pop in visits paid at £15.00 per hour
10. Morning - 9am to 11am
11. Afternoon - 1pm to 2pm
12. Evening - 8:45pm to 10:15pm
