Operations Coordinator Location: Holton Heath, Poole, Dorset Hours: 40 hours per week Salary: £30,000-£32,000 per annum About the Role Are you a highly organised professional with a passion for ensuring smooth and efficient operations? Our clienare seeking an Operations Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Holton Heath, Poole. As the Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting warehouse and logistics operations through effective administration and communication. You will work closely with the Operations Director, Warehouse Managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless daily operations. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support, including generating pick notes, dispatching orders, and managing transport documentation. Liaise with 3rd-party logistics partners and assist with transport planning. Oversee health and safety administration, including maintaining up-to-date toolbox talks, risk assessments, and compliance documents. Support HR processes such as absence reporting, onboarding, inductions, and maintaining training records. Coordinate internal and external meetings, including minute-taking and organizing events or lunches as needed. Assist with site inspections, H&S audits, and maintaining safety documentation. Facilitate communication between the warehouse and head office to ensure alignment and operational efficiency. About You You’ll be a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to multitask and prioritize will be key to succeeding in this role. Skills and Experience Required: Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Intermediate Excel, Advanced Word, and Outlook). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience in logistics, warehousing, or a similar operational environment is advantageous. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
