Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Social Worker within the Mental Health Inpatient Service for Young People Team to work full time for Elysium Healthcare, based in Emerald Place Clinic, Horley.
The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is up to £47,000 per annum.
Responsibilities:
1. Handling referrals to LADO and Local Authority in line with safeguarding and assessments.
2. Educating Hospital staff about relevant safeguarding matters.
3. Completing a full annual social care reassessment within the CPA format.
4. Facilitating access to welfare rights, housing, advocacy services and associated support services.
5. Participating in 1-1 supervision.
6. Helping vulnerable people gain a brighter future.
7. Managing a complex caseload and conducting social care assessments, risk assessments, facilitating group activities, and contributing to ICR meetings.
8. Acting as the Safeguarding Lead for the service and managing internal investigations.
9. Liaising with home authorities for service users during their admission and discharging process.
Requirements:
1. A social Work Qualification or equivalent.
2. Understanding of relevant legislation.
3. Registered or eligible for registration.
