About the role: As our Training Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all staff within the business area have the requisite skills, knowledge, practical skills and motivation to undertake their roles safely, efficiently, and effectively. This role is based out of our depot in Calne, however travel to other depots in the area will be required on a regular basis – access to a company van is provided. Your key responsibilities as our Training Co-ordinator will include: • Work with the management team, SHEQ team and Talent & Development team to identify the training and development needs within the business through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with managers and supervisors. • Design, develop, implement and deliver identified training programs. Producing training material/manuals and ensuring the training and skills matrices are regularly maintained and up to date. • Research and recommend new training methods, deliver Train the Trainer/toolbox talks sessions and ensure that sessions are professionally driven and provide regular reports as required. What we’re looking for in our Training Co-ordinator : • Previous experience in a training/learning and development role. • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and techniques. • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite. • Full UK driving licence. • HGV/LGV licences and driving assessor certificate preferable. • Experience within the waste industry would be an advantage.
