We are a rapidly growing, innovative company focused on helping the NHS reduce the surgical backlog. Our clinicians work in NHS facilities, typically over weekends and other available theatre time, to maximise the use of these areas and provide much-needed care. At the core of our mission is leveraging technology to make healthcare more efficient and accessible.
The Role:
As a Talent & Compliance Associate, you’ll play a key role in bridging our Talent Acquisition and Operations functions. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth onboarding journey for all new clinical contractors joining The Surgical Consortium.
We are looking for someone eager to develop their career in HealthTech, and we are happy to offer training for the right candidate. Whether you're just starting out or looking to grow within this dynamic sector, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities:
Talent Onboarding
* Respond to website enquiries from clinical staff interested in joining The Surgical Consortium (TSC) and initiate their onboarding process.
* Monitor recruitment emails and respond to potential and current hires; escalate or forward enquiries to other team members when necessary.
* Participate in regular recruitment meetings with the Talent team to address staff shortages, and contribute to planning and sourcing strategies.
* Provide general administrative support to the Talent team as needed.
Compliance Management
* Guide new candidates through the compliance process as part of their onboarding, ensuring they meet all regulatory and organisational requirements.
* Review and approve newly uploaded documents, notify candidates of any issues, and finalise compliance once all documentation is complete.
* Own the onboarding system and compliance portal, ensuring candidates are moved through the system appropriately, and regularly audit both to ensure accuracy and organisation.
* Ensure all staff are fully compliant with relevant frameworks before they begin their first shift. Flag any concerns regarding delays or non-compliance to the Account Manager in a timely manner.
Rota & Shift Management
* Create and manage rotas for new projects, ensuring shifts are aligned with the correct rate profiles and staffing needs.
* Publish shifts and assign them to appropriate candidates, ensuring staffing meets project specifications.
* Work closely with Account Managers to discuss specific staffing requirements, such as qualifications or certifications for nurses and other roles.
* Replace personnel as needed due to cancelled shifts or changes in staffing requirements.
Additional Responsibilities
* Ensure all staff have the necessary IT access and equipment before their first shift.
* Distribute logistics and project-related information to staff prior to their first shift.
* Provide general administrative support for both Talent and Operations teams, as needed, to ensure smooth operations.
