Long term contract role*

Responsibilities:
1. The role holder will manage NEC contracts.
2. Experience in tendering for complex packages of work and recommending for award based on a comprehensive review of submitted tenders.
3. Managing supplier payment applications.
4. Managing contractual changes including Early Warnings and Compensation events.
5. Cost forecasting and cost reporting.
6. Understanding of electronic sourcing software such as SAP, Ariba, and Cemar.
Qualifications:
1. Proven track record in an environment where Health Safety and Environment are a priority.
2. Successful track record in the Construction Industry, developing main and sub-contracting strategies, and influencing stakeholders based on an in-depth understanding of the construction market.
3. Demonstrable depth of procurement experience of at least 10 years in a post-contract managed environment using NEC forms of contract.
4. Good working knowledge of EU procurement methodologies and UCR (Utilities Contracts Regulations).
5. Independent, dynamic, and ambitious individual with excellent negotiation skills, capable of successfully project managing and delivering key contract negotiations.
6. Ideally 3 years of relevant post-contract management experience with the ability to work across multiple contracts simultaneously.
7. Experience in managing complex contracts and working with suppliers through SLA and KPI performance, including dispute resolution and claims management.
8. Proactive and commercially astute professional with excellent networking skills and strong Stakeholder and Supplier Relationship Management skills.
9. Ideally qualified to degree level and RICS or MCIPS qualified or working towards.
