Mechanical Technician – Kirkbymoorside
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Mechanical Technicians to join a world-leading company at the forefront of their sector. Based in Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire, this role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge technologies.

The successful candidates will play a key role in assembling mechanical and hydraulic components, ensuring high-quality is maintained throughout production. This position involves:
* Mechanical assembly of all products.
* Load testing of all assembled products.
* Manufacturing and testing hydraulic hoses and pipework.
* Assembly, proof pressure, setup, and function testing of a wide range of subassemblies and tooling.
* Collaborating with other departments to meet project deadlines.
* Completing necessary documentation (quality requirements, timesheets, NCRs, ECNs, etc.).
* Performing workshop maintenance and ensuring high safety and housekeeping standards.
What’s Required?
* Strong mechanical assembly skills, ideally suited to candidates with an automotive mechanic background.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
* A proactive attitude with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Willingness to learn through in-house training.
Desirable Experience & Qualifications:
* Apprenticeship-trained in a mechanical discipline.
* 2–3 years’ post-apprenticeship experience.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
