Introduction:
My Client is looking to recruit an HGV Mechanic to maintain and service a specialist fleet of military tank transporters based in Bulford Barracks, Salisbury. The successful applicant must become a Sponsored Reservist, all detail provided on enquiry.
This is not a typical HGV Mechanic position, but a career that offers travel, ongoing training along with working in challenging environments alongside some of the most highly trained people in the UK.
This opportunity would ideally be suited to personnel who have previously served in the Military as a vehicle mechanic or vehicle technician i.e. British Army, Royal Navy or Royal Air Force.

Applicant Requirements:
* Previous Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Mechanic knowledge is essential.
* Must be a holder of an appropriate BTEC, City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification.
* Desirable if you have a HGV C+E licence, if not training will be provided.
* All applicants for this position must be prepared to become a Sponsored Reservist and therefore must meet certain criteria, some of which is in regard to your physical fitness and medical history.
* Previous Armed Forces service, i.e. Army, Royal Air Force (RAF) and Royal Navy, is highly desirable.
* Willingness to travel.
