Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester.
Salary / Benefits: £24k - £42k + Training + Benefits
A reputable and well-respected provider of Asbestos Management services across the UK is now seeking to take on a qualified and hard-working Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team in the North West region. You will be carrying out various surveying and analytical duties in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines across Industrial, Commercial, and Local Authority sites. Our client would accept applications from candidates who only hold the BOHS P402 and are looking to expand their skills and knowledge while gaining the BOHS P403 and P404.
Experience & Qualifications:
1. At a minimum, will hold the BOHS P402.
2. Holding the BOHS P403 / P404 would be beneficial but not essential.
3. Experience working hands-on as a Surveyor / Analyst for a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy.
4. Well versed in HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
5. Excellent time management and communication skills.
6. Good IT skills, able to produce detailed reports using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
The Role:
1. Carrying out management, refurbishment, demolition, and re-inspection surveys.
2. Conducting 4 stage clearances and smoke, leak, background, reassurance, re-occupation, and personal air testing.
3. Ensuring work is being carried out in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
4. Using TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce detailed reports and submit them to clients in a timely manner.
5. Liaising with clients, providing excellent support and advice when required, and dealing with issues in a timely manner.
6. Providing clients with certificates of re-occupation.
7. Working on Industrial, Commercial, and Local Authority sites.
