Civils R/C Frame Site Manager – The Stores, Glasgow
Join Dandara Living at The Stores, a collection of 505 new residential apartments and an additional 491 student accommodation beds on the Clyde Waterfront within walking distance of the city centre.
The development will feature over 8,000 sqft of resident amenity including lounges, co-working facilities, cycle store and workshop, and two fully equipped gyms, along with over 4,000 sqft of commercial space.
The site is on the north bank of the River Clyde, immediately to the west of the city centre in the area of Anderston.
What you will do:
* Oversee the Civils and R/C Frame element of this prestigious project
* Ensure the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance site-wide
* Manage subcontractors and drive the timely completion of works to programme
* Manage all external works, liaise with subcontractors, and ensure top-tier delivery.
* Chair progress meetings and liaise with external facade engineers and building control
* Communicate effectively with other departments, including commercial and design teams
* Maintain quality assurance procedures and ensure the site is presented to a high standard
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working on civils and R/C Frame projects is a must
* Experience working on external facade works in the construction industry
* Proven track record in delivering high-rise residential projects to a high standard
* Relevant certifications, including SMSTS, First Aid, and Scaffold Appreciation
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety and fire stopping requirements
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
* Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying potential issues
